 Dear APEX members and e-community members,
On behalf of the new Board of Directors for 2009, I want to welcome you to an exciting new year with the Asian Professional Exchange (APEX)!
It is an honor and a privilege for me to continue to serve you as President of the leading professional organization for Asian Americans here in Southern California. Going into our 16th year of existence, APEX continues to cherish its rich history of serving Southern California and embodies the professionalism and generosity that characterizes our magnificent community. We are a dedicated and talented group of individuals committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of others, and improving our community through effective action and leadership.
APEX offers quality programs to help advance your career, opportunities to give back to the community, engaging events to promote networking, and numerous opportunities to develop leadership skills. APEX also has strong relationships to our corporate and community sponsors who generously support the organization. Most importantly, we have our diverse and dynamic membership that is the core of our organization.

APEX Mentoring Program - APPLICATION DEADLINE ON 1/12/09 - The APEX Mentoring Program (AMP) focuses on career guidance, personal development and networking for college/graduate students and young/senior professionals in the Asian Pacific American community. 3rd Annual APEX Community Leaders Reception on May 7th, 2009 - The APEX Community Leaders Reception is an exclusive opportunity to meet the movers and shakers in the Asian Pacific American community. It is a powerful networking event bridging young professionals with elected officials, community and business leaders and Asian Pacific American legislative staff. 15th Annual APEX Youth Olympics on May 16th 2009 - The APEX Youth Olympics brings together at risk youth for a day to promote leadership through fun team building activities. Please contact Jay Shah, APEX Director of Youth Outreach, at Jay@apex.org for more information.
APEX Career Symposium on October 10th, 2009 - The APEX Career Symposium fosters leadership and diversity within the community and the workplace. This is a great opportunity for symposium attendees to exchange information and business ideas while attending numerous workshops, leadership training, and networking opportunities.
