Letter from the President
Dear APEX members and e-community members,
It is my honor and privilege to serve as President of APEX this year. I am extremely excited to be working with such an amazing and talented group dedicated to building a stronger and more cohesive Asian Pacific Islander American community.
Now in its nineteenth year, APEX has grown tremendously from an idea that was scribbled on a restaurant napkin to becoming the premier membership organization for Asian Pacific Islander Americans in Southern California proudly serving the Los Angeles and Orange County regions. We are committed to professional development, community service, and cultural awareness and strive to offer our members with quality and effective programs that provide opportunities for personal and professional growth in hopes of empowering individuals to aspire toward greatness and achieve their own success to become our future leaders.
In 2012, APEX will continue to focus on serving the community and providing valuable learning and networking opportunities for our members. As it’s shaping up to be another exciting year, I encourage you to become an active member of the APEX family. Don’t miss the 6th Annual Community Leaders Reception, 18th Annual Youth Olympics, 19th Annual APEX Awards, and other exclusive networking events and professional development programs throughout the year.
As a 100% all-volunteer community based non-profit organization with no paid staff, APEX can only be as successful as our members’ generosity of spirit allows. We have a number of Committees that offer numerous opportunities for you to do something you enjoy and contribute to the advancement of our mission.
