APEX Cares: Operation Gratitude
Operation Gratitude, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is volunteer-based organization that sends care packages to individually named troops deployed overseas, to their children left behind, and to Wounded Warriors, New Recruits, First Responders, and Veterans. To date, the organization has sent over one million care packages!
APEX Cares will be volunteering with Operation Gratitude at the National Guard Armory in Van Nuys. We welcome every volunteer to join us for as many hours you are available and comfortable. Please sign up at the link below and fill out the release form.
Date & Time: Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Location: National Guard Armory 17330 Victory Blvd, Van Nuys, CA
Depending on the needs at the time, the volunteer tasks may include any or all of the following:
1. Assemble care packages (for any of our Care Package Programs as needed)
2. Prepare products for the Assembly Line (open, sort, inspect, fold, collate)
3. Weave Paracord Survival Bracelets
4. Write letters to the troops
5. Prepare pallets of packages for shipment
6. Organize inventory
