Chair of Youth Education Summit

Ethan Krizman became interested in both teaching and history in middle and high school. After attending Lewis and Clark college in Portland, OR and he became interested in teaching inner city youth in and around Los Angeles. He then attended Cal Poly Pomona for a teaching credential in Social Science. Ethan then accepted a position with the Los Angeles Unified School District, teaching special education history classes at Bret Harte Middle School in south Los Angeles whileearning a special education credential simultaneously. He will begin a master's program in history later this year in history and currently teaching special education at Paul Revere Middle School.

With APEX, Ethan hopes to bring his experience and expertise in the field of education to provide a unique experience for the Youth Education Summit (YES). Ethan wants to increase the number of participants in YES from last year. He would also like bring in more individuals from the field of education into the summit while providing a vareity professionals from a diversity of fields. Most of all he wants to have fun working with APEX!

The Asian Professional Exchange (APEX) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-partisan community based organization with multifaceted goals and purposes that are charitable, cultural and educational in nature. Established in 1993, APEX currently boasts an e-community membership of 10,000 members. Contact us
