Thuy-Anh J. Nguyen is a seasoned brand marketer with over 15 years of sales and marketing experience in the fashion, luxury, and wine & spirits industries. She has worked on large luxury & lifestyle brands including Rolex, J Brand Jeans, Hennessy, LOUIS XIII, and Remy Martin (overseeing at times, up to 7 brands at once).

Thuy-Anh has worked at LVMH managing the Hennessy cognac brand, the #1 selling cognac in the world, for 7 years as West Coast Marketing Manager. Thuy-Anh helped drive the brand to growing to 3 million cases in sales a year in the US, as well as launching their award winning “Never Stop. Never Settle” campaign with iconic rapper Nas in 2012. She then spent time abroad at the Moet Hennessy Global office in Paris as Senior Global Innovation Manager working on the company’s entire portfolio of brands including Dom Perignon and Moet & Chandon. Thuy-Anh worked directly with the Chief Digital Officer of MH Global and also had the opportunity to work with digital teams from LVMH sister brands such as DIOR & Louis Vuitton.

Ms. Nguyen has also worked as Entertainment & Lifestyle Marketing Manager at J Brand Jeans, overseeing entertainment partnerships and social media influencer marketing. In her time there she managed the company’s relationship with CAA and spearheaded the men’s fashion initiatives in sports reaching top athletes including Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Dwyane Wade.  And social media initiatives connecting with influencers such as Aimee Song & Marcus Troy.

This marketing maven has been able to fuse her love of entertainment and marketing into the brands she has worked on and has helped build her brands into true lifestyle brands through her deep understanding of consumer insights, multicultural millennial marketing, and experiential marketing. With a keen ability to understand big picture brand marketing coupled with her knowledge of what is trending in millennial culture has allowed her to partner her brands with the hottest brands, artists and athletes across fashion, music, sports and entertainment.

One of Thuy-Anh’s biggest accomplishments in her career has been negotiating the first ever spirits brand partnership with the NFL Player’s Association for Super Bowl and bringing both Hennessy & Remy Martin in as the only spirits brands to ever partner with the esteemed organization in over 60 years. Thuy-Anh has negotiated brand partnership deals for 3 Super Bowls and has hosted the likes of NFL super stars including Odell Beckham Jr., Todd Gurley, and NFL rookie of the year Alvin Kamara to name a few at her past events. Creating organic brand partnerships and bespoke brand experiences is Thuy-Anh’s passion and her desire to continuously create is what fuels her.

Thuy-Anh credits much of her success to her constant will to learn, explore, and ability to follow her heart no matter where the road may take her. Thuy-Anh completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Massachusetts Amherst with an Honors in Marketing and a minor in philosophy, graduating summa cum laude.  And she completed her MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA in 2009. Thuy-Anh is a firm believer in leveraging your network and paying it forward and is an active alumni member of the Anderson Business school, acting as keynote speaker for various MBA events and mentoring many students navigating their careers.
