Andrew works as a research analyst at Causeway Capital, an investment firm based in West Los Angeles. Prior to Causeway, he worked in a similar role at Dodge & Cox in San Francisco. He grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from UC Berkeley. Andrew Zhang is the Director of Youth Education Summit (YES). YES is a career exploration and mentorship day for high school students, and is one of APEX’s flagship community service events hosted in the fall. Through YES, APEX provides a valuable resource for students to learn about the daunting college application process and hear on-the-job stories from working young professionals. Andrew first joined the APEX board in 2017, and has previously served as Chair and Director of APEX Cares over the past two years.

Why APEX? Like many APEX officers, he discovered the organization through word-of-mouth. He enjoys volunteering his time in community service events and found that the organization and members shared his enthusiasm. As Director of YES, his goal is to connect high school students with working professionals and to provide these youth with important resources for transitioning into college.
